fsck.ext3: Bad magic number in super-block

This will list all your hard drives, allowing you to identify them. Next, type:

sudo blkid

via fsck.ext3: Bad magic number in super-block | prupert.

Also remember to mkfs to MAKE the filessystem before fsck ing it.  This problem occurred while trying to bring the openfiler NAS up.
