Those networks were supported by advertising, but the arrangement fell apart when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.computerworld.com\/s\/article\/9086838\/MetroFi_exec_Free_Wi_Fi_is_not_dead_yet\">MetroFi<\/a> went out of business in 2008.
