Similarly a UK team managed to push <strong>73.7Tbps<\/strong> down a <strong>hollow fibre optic cable<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2013\/03\/southampton-scientists-build-73-7tbps-capable-hollow-fibre-optic-cable.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>). But the difference here is that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/britishtelecom\" target=\"_new\">BT<\/a> has pulled off an impressive improvement using an existing link in a real-world environment with commercial grade hardware.
